Executive Director Migrationwatch UK

Migrationwatch UK (MW) is an independent think tank chaired by Sir Andrew Green. MW is recognised as the leading source for independent expert commentary on matters relating to migration into and out of the United Kingdom.

We are now seeking to appoint an Executive Director to work with Sir Andrew, the Executive Committee and the newly appointed Director of Research. The work involves running a small office in Westminster which will monitor immigration and asylum issues in press and Parliament. The Executive Director will be expected to acquire a full grasp of policy in these fields and prepare material to promote sensible policies for their reform.

The successful candidate must be a self starter with a strong intellect who is both literate and numerate. Age is immaterial. Political or public service experience would be a considerable advantage. Legal experience could also be valuable. Internet and computer skills are necessary. The position will be self employed but will require full time commitment.

Compensation: between £45,000 and £60,000 p.a. depending on qualifications and experience.
